About the Event

The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County) is soliciting public comments on the draft document for the region’s next Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for fiscal years 2023 through 2026. This TIP will invest over $425 million into our transportation infrastructure and services throughout the Greater Lansing region. People who live or work in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties are invited to comment on the draft document, which:

  • summarizes what a TIP is

  • measures our progress in meeting investment and performance  goals for our transportation network

  • lists transportation projects that improve our roads, bridges, highways, bicycle and pedestrian system, and public transit  services that are planned over the next several years

  • outlines available funding amounts and sources

  • analyzes selected projects for impacts to our natural and social environments
