Speaker Series on Autonomous Vehicles Coming to Lansing

Autonomous vehicles are coming, and it’s time to spark a discussion about what we can do as a region to prepare for them. What do AVs and smarter communities mean for our region? How will they impact our economy, traffic safety, policies, and regional planning activities? How can we plan for the future of our mobility?

Tri-County will be hosting the first installment of our Prosperity In Place speaker series on September 12, 2018 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the MSU Henry Center for Executive Development. The day will include an update from the Michigan Department of Transportation on initiatives already in the works, a panel discussion with local planners and leaders in the industry, lunch, networking, and a presentation from our keynote, Mark de la Vergne, the Chief of Mobility Innovation at the City of Detroit. View the full program here. Weren't able to make it? View MDOT's presentation here and Mark's here.

Register at Tiny.cc/TriCountyAV. Space is limited.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on September 6, 2018. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis; space is limited. The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission must be notified of any cancellations or registration transfers within 5 business days before the event.
