This public meeting is your opportunity to comment on the metropolitan transportation planning process in the Greater Lansing region as part of the federal certification being conducted by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The meeting will also include a presentation from FHWA and FTA representatives concerning their views on the transportation planning process in the region. Read more about the certification process and our online questionnaire here.

The Board of Commissioners will also hear a presentation on the Economic Impact Analysis of COVID-19 in the Greater Lansing Region, information on COVID-19 Emergency orders, and the FY 2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program Schedule. The Board will also take action on the FY 2022 Unified Planning Work Program, several financial reports and contracts, and proposed amendments to the FY 2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the region’s four-year capital improvements program for transportation enhancements throughout Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties.
