Request for Proposals: Economic Impact Analysis

The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County) is issuing a Request for Proposal(s) for the completion of a comprehensive economic impact analysis for the Greater Lansing tri-county region in response to the coronavirus pandemic.


Tri-County invites the submission of proposals from qualified professional consulting firms that specialize in the collection and analysis of economic data for the development of this regional impact analysis that is reflective of the social, economic, and interrelated impacts of the novel coronavirus pandemic within Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties. Tri-County will work with the selected firm to assess the immediate, short-term, and forecasted impacts and effects of the coronavirus on the region’s economy and associated quality of life indicators.

Interested candidates’ submissions should include a concise statement of the consultant's approach to the project and a summary of the consultant's ability to provide the required services.

Interested candidates must submit complete proposals to info@mitcrpc.org by 4:30 p.m. EST (COB) on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. All questions pertaining to this RFP must be submitted electronically to relsinga@mitcrpc.org by November 10, 2020 (COB). All submitted queries and formal responses will be shared publicly and made available on Tri-County's website on November 16, 2020. No verbal requests for information or contact with Tri-County, its staff, or selection committee members will be accepted, and may result in disqualification.

This RFP is not an offer to contract. Issuance of this RFP and the receipt of responses by Tri-County do not commit Tri-County to award a contract to any vendor.
