Public Notice: Capital Area Regional Transportation Study (CARTS) Meeting Scheduled as Video Call

Due to COVID-19 concerns and our mitigation measures currently in place, which includes the closure of the physical office and suspension of face-to-face meetings, the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission’s meeting of the Capital Area Regional Transportation Study (CARTS) Technical Committee scheduled for Tuesday May 5, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. will be held as a teleconference meeting via Zoom. This public meeting is an opportunity for you to review and comment on proposed amendments to the FY 2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the region’s four-year capital improvements program for transportation enhancements throughout Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties. The meeting will also consider information on the FY 2021 Unified Planning Work Program, the FY 2020 Performance Measure Transit Targets, and the Metropolitan Transportation plan, all of which is included in the meeting packet.
The proposed amendments to the TIP, which include changes to several local projects, are also available for public review and comment at mitcrpc.org/tip.
